Rock climbing was initially born on the magnificent "Colodri" walls, stretching from the
castle in Arco to the professional climbing stadium equipped with an 18m high artificial wall.
The upper Garda area can boast a long tradition in free climbing, especially thanks to the
Rock Master International Event,
which is among the most important in Europe that has regularly been taking place in Arco for
years.
The free climbing "kingdom" can be discovered along the natural Garda Trentino rock walls;
the multi-coloured walls above Massone, the extensions over Romarzollo, the striped walls
of Pietramurata and the high rock walls lining the road to Mount Daino.
All these areas offer the rock-lover the opportunity to enjoy climbing all year round.
Besides, there are numerous climbing routes fitted with iron holds at different levels
of expertise to suit all climbers' requests.
